Civil rights are the rights imbued on every person regardless of who they are or what race, religion, or sex they belong to. Wars have been fought over the concept of civil rights and many countries ignore these basic human rights on a regular basis when it comes to their citizens. History shows that many lives were lost in the fight to ensure civil rights were guaranteed for all people around the globe.
Rights that do not flow from duty well performed are not worth having
Every man has a right to be wrong in his opinions. But no man has a right to be wrong in his facts
In giving rights to others which belong to them, we give rights to ourselves and to our country
To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men
