An autobiography is the story of a person's life, as told by that individual. When these stories are written the reader must remember that the author may have a tendency to show themselves in the best possible light, leaving out certain facts and events that may not reflect favorably on the person. These tomes have been written by people from all walks of life. Kings and Queens, Presidents and First Ladies, and even every day people who died before ever becoming rich or famous. Everyone has a special talent or skill, and they live an interesting life even if they do not realize it. Autobiographies can help a reader understand exactly what the writer felt and experienced at various points in their lives.
